UPPER SANDUSKY AUTUMN CRUISE 2016: ROUND FIVE

Standard

This July 4th holiday weekend was supposed to be spent on the motorcycle and at the drag races but the weather has made that a non-starter. The drags are dry but it’s wet where I am so that was a no-go. Hopefully the rest of the weekend is a little drier and I get on the bike a bunch. As a consolation I offer these photos from the 2016 Autumn Cruise to the weather gods. Give em a peek and see some pretty stuff. This is the last round of photos so take them in and look ahead to possibly seeing more from later this year.

UPPER SANDUSKY AUTUMN CRUISE 2016: ROUND FOUR

Standard

Well, well well…it has been a VERY long time since I’ve posted any car photos. There are numerous reasons for that: life, motorcycles, jobs, lack of quality computer, and more. I finally fixed one of those reasons when I recently bought myself a newly updated iMac. Lightroom is now running quick and smooth so I’m getting back in the saddle with these photos. Check ’em out and if you like something then give a comment. I’m working on potentially selling some photos from my various car outings. I hope that it can be a small revenue stream that also gets me out and about over the summer. If you are interested in a print then hit me up in the comments or by email/text if you know me personally.

I’m back with a few more photos from the recent Upper Sandusky Autumn Cruise that was held on September 24. There’s some good stuff in this collection. Shiny paint, bright chrome and colors abound. There’s even a bit of the Halloween spirit mixed in there. Check it out!

Summer’s Last Stand

Standard

XS400-7

A little while back, my mom and I rode out early one morning to get some snaps of the bikes in the wonderful morning glow. It was a nice, warm morning and a great little ride.

Lately it’s been not so great outside. Rain all day today, cloudy most other days. When it is sunny I try to get out and ride. I even ventured into Kent last week to see a friend I haven’t talked with in a LONG time. Good times were had by all. Sadly, it appears that summer has finally come to a close. The days aren’t creeping into the 70’s anymore. I’m feeling lucky if it just slides into the 60’s. It looks like I’ll soon be riding the bike to Clyde for the last time and to ready it for winter work or just storage.

So, in honor of this summer bidding us adieu, I offer up some photos of that warm mornings ride that seems so long ago. At the top of the post is what I took with me that morning on our ride. Helmet, gloves, glasses, camera bag and all that stuff. Not too much but it definitely freaks me out having that much expensive gear on that back of this motorcycle. Anyway, there are a few photos of my mom’s bike but a bunch more of mine since it requires infinitely less retouching. Check ’em out!

XS4001

I was able to squeeze in a little photo editing on some bikes yesterday in between editing engagement photos and working on some design projects. Good stuff fo sho. I spent a fair amount of time on that Harley image to get it looking just how I wanted. Real sexy stuff. It makes me realize I need some chrome or gloss paint on my bike.

More to come once I get a bit more free time.

Lakewood Car Kulture Show 2015

Standard

Naners and I hit up the Lakewood Car Kulture Show last weekend. Lots of good cars, sexy bikes and crusty people. It was a decent show but we got there around 3pm and the cars were already starting to roll out. There was not a cloud in the sky so I have no clue why these guys felt the need to get out of there so quickly. Also, it apparently shuts down at 5pm. Not cool. I don’t know if I’ve ever been to a car show that ended that early. Oh well. It was still packed with lots of good visual treats to take in. Hit the jump and check out a bunch of photos from the day.
