I realized the other day that I never finished editing photos from the 2017 Autumn Cruise held in Upper Sandusky, OH on September 23. Honestly, it was hot as Hell and I just didn’t want to remember that day. Nancy and I rode there form Cleveland, got sunburnt, walked for maybe an hour or two and then bailed. We ate some food (it was tasty), stuck to the shadows and I shot 54 photos—many of those being alternate angles of shots I post here. It was a beautiful day for the show, just not the best day for the show. Overall too hot and sunny to be standing under a clear sky on concrete. Regardless, we showed up, saw some cool shit and here is the proof.
Nancy and I went to the Progressive Motorcycle Show in Cleveland last year and I grabbed this wonderful book from the Indian display while wandering around. I’ve never really wanted a modern Indian motorcycle but this design was too good to leave sitting there. Tons of good imagery, bold typography (grungy sans-serif with an old-school script FTW!) all wrapped in a simple layout. That’s my kind of promotional piece. Check it out!
I finally got around to taking some photos of the Sportster with the new paint scheme a few weeks ago. I know, I know… it’s only taken me about 4 months now. Whatever. It was worth the wait. I got lucky with some decent weather and a few good locations. Not the easiest task in the small town of Clyde but it came through in the end. I also managed to snap a set at an abandoned gas station on Rt. 20 on my way from Cleveland to Clyde. Very cool spot but most of the photos didn’t turn out so well this time. Maybe I’ll stop again when the sun is setting for another chance. Check ’em all out and if you see me out and about then give me a holler.
This July 4th holiday weekend was supposed to be spent on the motorcycle and at the drag races but the weather has made that a non-starter. The drags are dry but it’s wet where I am so that was a no-go. Hopefully the rest of the weekend is a little drier and I get on the bike a bunch. As a consolation I offer these photos from the 2016 Autumn Cruise to the weather gods. Give em a peek and see some pretty stuff. This is the last round of photos so take them in and look ahead to possibly seeing more from later this year.
Well, well well…it has been a VERY long time since I’ve posted any car photos. There are numerous reasons for that: life, motorcycles, jobs, lack of quality computer, and more. I finally fixed one of those reasons when I recently bought myself a newly updated iMac. Lightroom is now running quick and smooth so I’m getting back in the saddle with these photos. Check ’em out and if you like something then give a comment. I’m working on potentially selling some photos from my various car outings. I hope that it can be a small revenue stream that also gets me out and about over the summer. If you are interested in a print then hit me up in the comments or by email/text if you know me personally.
I’m back with a few more photos from the recent Upper Sandusky Autumn Cruise that was held on September 24. There’s some good stuff in this collection. Shiny paint, bright chrome and colors abound. There’s even a bit of the Halloween spirit mixed in there. Check it out!
I finally sat down and edited a few more photos of the Autumn Cruise last night. I’ve also been trying to decide where/how I want to shoot photos of vinyl. What I thought would work in our house hasn’t been going well so I constantly have to change my ideas and locations. I’m not digging on that too much. It’s becoming really frustrating to move all the gear and setup materials over and over.
Anyway, check out the photos from the car show a while back and see what you missed out on.
