I don’t have a nicely written and photographed post for this week. I’m still making my way through a small collection that I purchased last weekend. Lot’s of mid-80s metal albums all in really good condition. Score!!!
I’ll be back next week with a proper post. Until then, peep that Metallica “Whiplash” EP.
I have a little treat for y’all this morning. I finished the CTA font that I had been working on last week and it is now available for download. It was a rough one at times but very fun and worth it when I see it typed out in a final form. It’s an all-caps typeface that is meant for display/headline settings and it has a kind of retro, 1920’s vibe about it. And look at that ampersand! I lusted after that glyph for too long. Sooo good. Click that image at the top or the link below to start the download. If you happen to notice anything weird then hit me back up and I can always tweak it until it’s perfect.
No long, thought-out writing today. Just a quick message to all fans of 80’s Glam tunes with a very immature edge: Go out and buy Steel Panther’s newest album All You Can Eat right away. It’s another good one from this gang of misfits. I received this in the mail today and overall I am very pleased. I even refrained from listening to it early so I could fully enjoy it on the release day. I am probably too old-school for all these young whippersnappers out there just downloading everything early.
I plan on doing a full write-up of Steel Panther albums at some point, today just isn’t that day. For now enjoy one of the new tunes called “Party Like Tomorrow Is The End of The World”.
