The Sportster Comes Alive

I finally got around to taking some photos of the Sportster with the new paint scheme a few weeks ago. I know, I know… it’s only taken me about 4 months now. Whatever. It was worth the wait. I got lucky with some decent weather and a few good locations. Not the easiest task in the small town of Clyde but it came through in the end. I also managed to snap a set at an abandoned gas station on Rt. 20 on my way from Cleveland to Clyde. Very cool spot but most of the photos didn’t turn out so well this time. Maybe I’ll stop again when the sun is setting for another chance. Check ’em all out and if you see me out and about then give me a holler.

What’s Old is New

Over the past winter, I (along with a few of my trusted buddies) embarked on a long journey to spruce up the Sportster that I got last summer. There was nothing actually wrong with it other than a battery cable that snapped in half but I really disliked the color of the thing and the really ugly, hand-painted cancer ribbon on the back fender. There was actually a fairly neat painting on the rear fender as well but it was always obscured by the big seat so it had to go too. Out with the old and in with the new. Continue reading
